Thanksgiving

We are two days away from “Thanksgiving”

What is Thanksgiving?

Dictionary.com defines thanksgiving as 1-the act of giving thanks; grateful acknowledgment of benefits or favor, especially to God. This my friend is not limited to one day. We should be offering thanks to God daily! I realize that this holiday is when family comes together to fellowship and that’s a beautiful thing. Just don’t let that be the only time that you offer thanks to God.

1 Chronicles 16:34 “O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good; for His mercy endureth forever

1 Thessalonians 5:18 “ In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”

So on Thursday and every day thereafter remain in a posture of thanksgiving.

Father in the name of Jesus we thank for you for who you are, we thank you for life, we thank you for family near and far, we thank you for shelter , food, employment, provision and all that you provide and all that you are. We love you and ask that help us to keep a heart of gratitude and remain in the posture of thanksgiving! Amen
