Are you a peacemaker?

Are you the gossip bearer? Are you always talking about people and their shortcomings ? Are you one who stirs up strife and contention?

Or are you the one who encourages? Are you the one who comes to bring peace ? Are you the one who prays for others and situations?

As children of the Most High we are called to be peacemakers. Romans 12:18 “ If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men”.

Ephesians 4:1-3 “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you were called, with all lowliness, and meekness and longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavoring to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace”

Choose not to be used of the enemy! Choose to be a peacemaker ! Be an agent of change !

Let’s pray , Father it’s in the name of Jesus that we come before you today . Lord we ask you for forgiveness. Forgiveness for doing things done that were contrary to your will. Father I ask that you empower us by the Holy Spirit to live in accordance with your word. Help us to put self aside and obey you. Empower us to be peacemakers and to bring encouragement to the body. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen
