During this pandemic, I’ve found myself touching and agreeing in prayer, interceding, and “believing” for manifestation, healing, mercy, and restoration. Fast forward to hearing of all those infected and the countless number of people who have unfortunately passed away. I heard of so much negativity that fear and death began to overwhelm me—death to the left, right, front, and back. People were asking me if I was experiencing symptoms(as if I should be concerned), and things begin to weigh heavily on me. Through prayer, I was able to release a lot of tension. On 3/26/20, I had a dream that warned me about what I allow in my spirit. I was directed to limit my time watching the news, looking at negativity on social media and limit talking to people who speak fear over faith. Whatever we choose to give our attention to, that’s what will manifest. Protect your eye and ear gates. Focus on God and his word. Fear will try to overtake you. But we know that God didn’t give us a spirit of fear. I reflected over the teaching that I’ve been hearing for the last couple of months during the Monday Night Bible Study, and the Father has been preparing us for what was to come. He was teaching on Philippians 4:6-7- Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. I must admit I didn’t know that this is what I was being prepared for! But there is hope. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you, ‘says the Lord’, plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Let us continue to pray Psalms 91 over ourselves, family and friends. Use this time to reflect on your life. Repent, Repent, forgive, and cultivate your relationship with GOD. We have nothing but time on our hands!!!
Let’s pray….
Father, it’s in the name of Jesus that we come before you. Father, forgive us for our sins. Forgive us for neglecting you and doing things our way. Have mercy on us and our land….. We pray and ask for forgiveness and mercy. You said in your word “and my people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.” Now My eyes will be opened and My ears attentive to prayer offered in this place.” Father, we thank you for the blood that covers, protects and heals. Oh, Father, for those who don’t know you, I pray that they cry out to you and be reconciled to you through your Son’s sacrifice. We love You and we trust You in the midst of this.
This is an awesome word & it is definitely needed right now!!!
